AI supplier discovery — from a product name to a ranked shortlist
DDS finds candidate manufacturers in public sources — the manufacturers' own sites, trade profiles and open records — rates each candidate for risk, and attaches a source link to every finding. Candidates located, never a blind endorsement: you see exactly what each line rests on, and what has not been verified.
Who this is for
- Importers assessing a new overseas manufacturer — before first contact and before a deposit.
- B2B buyers who want ranked alternatives in the same category, not a single name from a marketplace.
- Anyone handed a factory name at a trade fair or by referral — who wants an evidence file before going further.
Less of a fit if
- You need a physical factory audit — we do not visit the manufacturer's site.
- You want someone else to make the call for you — the report supports the decision; the decision stays yours.
The starting point: a product or a manufacturer's name
Start from either direction. Describe the product and quantity — and the system goes out to find candidate manufacturers in the category; or enter the name of a specific manufacturer you already have — and the system checks it and places ranked alternatives beside it. No catalog, no existing list, no preparation needed.
How discovery works
Four steps, all on public sources — with the result transparent down to the individual link.
Search
The system sweeps public sources: manufacturer websites, trade profiles and open records in your category.
Cross-reference
Each candidate's details are cross-checked across the sources found — identity, location, production scope, track record and claims.
Filter
A candidate without supporting evidence drops out or gets flagged. Whatever could not be located is written up as not located.
Rank
Every candidate gets a risk rating and a confidence level — how strong the evidence behind each statement is.
What you get: a ranked shortlist
Not a list of names — a working file. For every candidate on the shortlist:
- A risk rating and a confidence level, with the reasoning beside them.
- Source links on every finding — open and read them yourself.
- What is still open: the points worth settling with the manufacturer before you pay.
- An outreach draft prepared for the leading candidates — sent only on your approval.
Every finding cites a public source
Every line in the report rests on a source you can click. Whatever we could not locate is stated plainly as not located — no score that feels more confident than the evidence allows.
Decision support — not a guarantee.
What we do not verify
The limits, in the same size type as the promises — because this is exactly where you should know what the report does not say.
- We do not visit the factory or see the production line.
- We do not verify ownership of a manufacturer's bank account.
- We do not verify every certificate with its issuing body — a certificate shown on the manufacturer's site is reported as their claim.
- We do not see financial statements or internal credit data.
What happens after the shortlist
Once you choose who to move forward with, the subscription manages the correspondence — and every send passes through you:
- An outreach draft is prepared for each leading candidate — sent only after your approval.
- The manufacturer's reply is captured into the system and translated.
- A follow-up draft is prepared — it, too, waits for your approval.
- Quotes are extracted from the replies and compared on a like-for-like basis.
